See Chin Teik manages HP’s Personal Systems Group (PSG) in Asia Pacific and Japan, overseeing manufacturing, sales and marketing. He assumed this role in July 2008 and is also responsible for extending HP’s leadership in the fast growing SMB segment.During his 21-year career with HP, Chin Teik has held numerous executive positions in the company, spanning both sales and marketing, product development and technical support as well as covering all customer segments.

The past two years saw Chin Teik as vice president of PSG Sales for South-East Asia and Taiwan where he drove the group’s strategic business planning, go-to- market initiatives and sales and marketing efforts in high-growth markets. Under his leadership, the team delivered at least 30 percent growth each quarter, including seven successive record-highs in revenue, and record-high gross margins in four of eight quarters.

From 2000 to 2007, Chin Teik led HP’s Consumer Products and Mobile Business Group across the region, establishing HP’s position as the leading consumer PC vendor in Asia Pacific. He was previously the Sales and Marketing Director, Information Storage in the Asia Pacific and Japan operations. And prior to that, Chin Teik served as Director of Commercial Desktop and Notebooks, HP Asia Pacific.

Chin Teik holds an Honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He resides in Singapore with his wife and two children.
