Ashish holds BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering. In a professional career spanning 22 years, he has worked 12 years in Asia and 10 years in North America.
His first 3 year work stint was at Mumbai with ICI plc. as Process Development Engineer. Ashish then completed his MS in the US and joined Procter & Gamble in Process & Materials Development at Akashi Plant in Japan.
After 8 years in Japan, Ashish moved to P&G USA and was located at Cincinnati for 10 years. During that time, he held positions of increasing responsibility across a spectrum of R&D roles including Consumer Research, Product Design, and Initiative leadership and represented R&D on the North America Business Team in the Feminine Care Business Unit.
Returning to India after 20 years, he is completing the first year of his current role in Corporate R&D. Besides, heading the Bangalore Innovation Center, he leads the Asia Open Innovation and Bangalore Beauty efforts.
On the personal front, Ashish is married and has two children, Ragini and Rishabh. He speaks four languages including Japanese. Back to speakers |
