Er. Edwin T.F. Khew is the CEO/Managing Director of IUT Global Pte Ltd, a global environmental waste technology and management company with its headquarters in Singapore. He is a Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) and also currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), the Honorary President of the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMa), a Council Member of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and Chairman of the Singapore Standards Council. Mr Khew has an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (UK), and a professional engineer of the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.

IUT Global Pte Ltd is a niche environmental waste management company providing a comprehensive suite of solid waste treatment technologies and management solutions. Its core expertise is in organic waste bio-methanisation, and landfill remediation and management. Through its subsidiary, IUT Singapore Pte Ltd, IUT Global has constructed in Singapore, Asia’s first major organic waste bio- methanisation and renewable energy plant based on a patent jointly held by Er. Khew and his Austrian partner, Ing. Reinhard Goeschl. (Patent Pending: PCT/SG2006/000077). In the process of converting organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, bio-gas is harnessed for the production of renewable electrical energy or green power. Providing innovative solutions to increasingly complex environmental challenges, IUT Global leads the way towards a more sustainable future.



SEAS was launched on 12th July 2006 and represents the interests and provides a common platform for companies in renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon trading, clean development mechanism projects and the financial institutions to meet, discuss, collaborate and undertake viable projects together. The Association also extends its focus to include capacity building, technology strengthening and market intelligence sourcing to assist its members in achieving sustainable growth.



SEAS aims to facilitate the business of its member companies, and thus developing Singapore as the regional centre for the promotion of energy efficiency technologies and services, showcasing of renewable energy technologies, carbon asset management and trading as well as clean energy finance.
