
Teng Theng DarChair, ABAC 2009 & CEO Singapore Business Federation
Teng Theng Dar has joined the Singapore Business Federation as CEO since 18 February 2008. Established in 2002, the Singapore Business Federation is the APEX business chamber of Singapore with more than 15,000 members that represent the top 20% of Singapore-based companies. It serves as the business facilitation, business capacity building, as well as the voice representation hub of the Singapore business community. It has an international business chamber network covering 50 major cities worldwide to connect Singapore-based companies to global market business opportunities. Mr Teng has more than 29 years of management experience in Asia, Australia and in recent years, the Middle East. He is a member of the Oman-Singapore Joint Committee, Co-Chair of Guangdong Singapore Business & Economic Council, Singapore Customs Advisory Committee, Singapore Pro-Enterprise Panel, Chairman of Singapore Middle East Business Group, Vice-Chairman of the Saudi-Singapore Joint Business Council, Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman. He is also a Trustee of Heartware Network and General Council member of the National Arthritis Foundation. He graduated from the School of Commerce, Waseda University, Japan in March 1979 and is a member of the Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore (Jugas). Back to speakers |
