Carmen Wee has 19 years of professional Human Resources (HR) experience gleaned from various industries like FMCG, hospitality and technology.

Her experience encompasses the broad spectrum of strategic HR responsibilities in talent acquisition, reward management, organization development and employee relations, across multinational companies of differing sizes and business maturity within the Asia Pacific region. She has extensive knowledge of the region and has worked in a start-up, growing and mature companies and handled restructuring and acquisitions at a corporate level.

Currently, Carmen is the Vice President, Human Resources, Asia Pacific, in Invensys, a global technology group in the automation, controls and process solutions space, listed on the London Stock Exchange with an annual turnover of USD $4.85 billion. Invensys delivers products, services, expertise and ongoing support enabling intelligent systems to monitor and control processes in many industries like Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Pharmaceuticals and Chemical.

Carmen is responsible for the HR function and provides oversight for an employee base of 2800, with a HR team spanning across 20 countries in Asia Pacific/Middle East.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and History and a professional diploma in Human Resource Management from SIM. She is also a Certified Coach with Worklife Asia and TLC and a member of the Asian Association of Career Management Professionals, serving in the membership committee in 2001/2002. She was named “Best HR Leader” at the 2009 HRM Awards.
