Vietnam is still one of Asia's growth stories despite the economic downturn elsewhere. Fixed Direct Investments are flowing into the country at an unprecedented rate, spurring growth in infrastructure developments such as Airports, Ports, Highways, Telecommunications and new urban areas and industrial zones. High Tech manufacturing is booming with many of the world's leading computer and chipmakers setting up new manufacturing clusters in huge modern industrial complexes, populated by skilled workers. The predominantly young population aspires to a higher standard of living, with per capital income doubling over the a last five years, spurring demand for better housing, healthcare, education, travel and luxury goods such as computers, cars, scooters, iPods and the latest 3G mobile smartphones.

The Indo-China Business Leaders Bridge Forum will bring together Vietnam's leading entrepreneurs, heads of MNCs and top officials of State-owned Companies (SOEs) under the umbrella of Indochina's premium and exclusive top executive Association: CEO & CIO Club. The 100 strong delegations from Indochina will present business opportunities in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in and Gas, High Tech Manufacturing, Infrastructure -Airports, Ports and Metro systems, and Real Estate in new cities being planned, Telecommunications and Information Technology projects and Government ICT needs: e-Government, National Citizen Database, Training and Healthcare.

The CEO & CIO Club has invited Trade and Business Associations of regional groups - ASEAN, Gulf Cooperation Council, Nordic Countries, Latin America, USA, Europe, Japan, China and Korea to join this "Bridging" event so as to build business links, and grow the prosperity of Vietnam in tandem with these trading regions.
